The recent arrival of three 1500kVA pad mounted transformers in Manila stands as a new milestone for VKE Transformer.

This project stems from an excellent tripartite collaboration. VKE is responsible for design and manufacturing, ensuring product quality is controlled from the source. Our Philippine client Mr. Kim provides precise application scenarios and requirements. And technical expert Professor Choi from South Korea contributes invaluable localized experience and support. The three parties complements each other's strengths, fulfills their distinct roles, and successfully delivers this benchmark project.

Manufacturing

Core
VKE utilizes a high-permeability silicon steel core with a stepped lap joint. This structure ensures the magnetic flux follows the smoothest path, thereby minimizing no-load losses. Our precise cutting lines and stringent stacking procedures guarantee a perfect fit for every silicon steel sheet's joint.
Winding
VKE has overcome the technical challenges associated with connection reliability in aluminum windings, ensuring every joint is incredibly robust. Subsequently, the windings undergo vacuum impregnation and curing. This process not only firmly binds the conductors and insulating materials to withstand short-circuit impacts but also forms a dense protective layer on the aluminum surface to effectively prevent oxidation.


Oil Tank
VKE uses high-quality steel plates, formed through precise welding processes. Every tank undergoes sandblasting and electrostatic powder coating. Furthermore, they must pass multiple sealing tests, including positive and negative pressure checks, to ensure no oil leakage or moisture ingress.
Active Part
The high-and low-voltage windings are accurately placed over the core limbs, and the upper yoke is restored. Subsequently, multiple layers of insulation components are installed to build a reliable isolation barrier. Then, tap changers and leads are securely connected, establishing the transformer's neural network.

Packing & Shipping
Fully aware of the challenges of long-distance international transportation, we customize protection solutions for each unit.
Wooden Base
Each transformer is securely fixed to a thick wooden base. The base structure has been specially calculated to ensure absolute stability during lifting and transportation.

Rust Protection
For the marine environment, we have meticulously applied anti-rust packaging. This effectively isolates the transformer from saline and humid air.

Arrival & On-Site Acceptance
The client and technical expert jointly conduct the unpacking and inspection. Through rigorous on-site testing, all three units pass the preliminary acceptance. The excellent transportation condition and comprehensive documentation receive high recognition from the client.
