Epoxy resin cast transformers are flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, dust-resistant, moisture-resistant, high mechanical strength, compact size, light weight, low losses, and low noise. Compared to oil-immersed transformers, they offer advantages such as safety, economy, reliability, and convenience.

1. Flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties: The transformer coils are cast in epoxy resin, offering excellent moisture resistance, flame-retardant properties, and self-extinguishing properties.

2. Low losses: The transformer design utilizes high-quality cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets and employs a series of technical measures, including a 45° fully beveled core, no painting or annealing, and tight steel strapping, significantly reducing core losses.

3. High mechanical strength: The epoxy resin cast structure of the transformer coils provides high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding short-circuit current surges and ensuring normal operation under a variety of harsh conditions.

4. Excellent insulation: Epoxy resin exhibits excellent moisture resistance, and the windings, after casting, are protected from direct air contact, resulting in stable properties and excellent electrical insulation.

5. Low Noise
Transformer noise is primarily caused by magnetostriction of the silicon steel sheets, which is a superposition of the fundamental frequency at twice the power supply frequency and higher harmonics. The epoxy resin-cast transformer coils are tightly compressed and positioned using a silicone rubber buffer structure. The coils act as a soundproof barrier around the noise-generating iron core.
