Recently, the plant expansion project at Jiangsu VKE transformer manufacturing base is advancing steadily, with multiple new intelligent production lines scheduled for installation. Driven by growing demands for global power grid renovation, distributed photovoltaic projects and overseas infrastructure construction, the company has seen a steady rise in domestic and overseas order intake. Existing production capacity is nearing full saturation, making plant expansion and production line upgrade a strategic necessity for the enterprise based in Haian High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
Drawing on years of technical expertise covering dry-type, oil-immersed and pad-mounted transformers, VKE has achieved remarkable results in overseas market expansion in recent years. A steady stream of orders from power infrastructure projects across Africa, Southeast Asia and South America has been secured, alongside robust growth in domestic orders for commercial & industrial power distribution and new-energy energy storage supporting equipment. Long-term high workshop workload has created prominent capacity constraints and delivery pressure. To resolve supply shortages, shorten lead times and guarantee on-time order fulfillment, VKE has launched a comprehensive factory expansion program. The project features rational site layout planning and introduction of automated integrated production lines for core processing, winding assembly and finished-product testing, upgrading the company's lean manufacturing system across all production links.
According to VKE's production management, the expansion and new-line investment align with the company's medium- and long-term development strategy. On one hand, the project fills current capacity gaps to accommodate surging bulk orders worldwide and greatly raise annual output of flagship products including dry-type transformers, distribution transformers and pad-mounted transformers. On the other hand, standardized production conditions in new workshops will improve processing precision and factory pass rate, strengthening VKE competitiveness in international bidding and large-scale engineering tenders. Against the backdrop of global energy transition and prosperous demand for power distribution equipment, capacity expansion stands as an inevitable and crucial strategic move for VKE to seize industry opportunities and consolidate its market standing.
Upon full completion of the capacity upgrade, VKE will further optimize supply chain management and accelerate bulk-order delivery efficiency. The firm will continue developing customized transformers compliant with IEC, EEU, ANSI and other international standards to expand its global market share of power distribution products. Going forward, leveraging upgraded factory facilities and advanced production lines, VKE will consolidate its manufacturing prowess, march toward the top tier of the industry, and deliver premium transformers to support power infrastructure development at home and abroad.
