VKE Transformer, a leading manufacturer of power distribution equipment, announced today the successful completion of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for a batch of single-phase oil-immersed pole-mounted distribution transformers (Production No. VKE2026216), which commenced production on February 16, 2026.
The transformers, ranging from 37.5kVA to 167kVA with primary voltages of 13800V/23900Y and secondary voltages of 120/240V or 240/480V, underwent a comprehensive suite of tests in accordance with IEC 60076-1:2011 (Power transformers – Part 1: General) and IEC 60076-5:2021 (Power transformers – Part 5: Ability to withstand short-circuit) at VKE's state-of-the-art Intelligent Comprehensive Testing Center.

Testing Facility & Quality Assurance
The FAT was conducted in VKE's Intelligent Noise Shielding Room and Comprehensive Testing Center, equipped with calibrated instrumentation traceable to national standards. The facility ensures a controlled environment for accurate measurement of electrical performance, mechanical integrity, and acoustic emissions, aligning with global quality benchmarks.
'Meeting the stringent requirements of IEC 60076 series standards underscores our commitment to delivering reliable, safe, and efficient power distribution solutions,' said a senior engineer at VKE Transformer. 'This successful FAT validates the design and manufacturing quality of our single-phase pole-mounted transformers, which are tailored for North American and global distribution networks.'
Market Impact
The VKE2026216 batch is scheduled for shipment to international clients in Q2 2026. These transformers are designed to enhance grid stability, reduce energy loss, and improve reliability in rural and urban distribution systems, supporting the global transition to sustainable energy infrastructure.
