Recently, VKE Transformer welcomes a guest expert from South Korea, Professor Choi. He is the senior technical representative from Flexbum T & S Corporation, our important partner in the Philippines.
R&D team jointly discusses technical standards, practical applications and industry trends. Professor Choi further enriches the dialogue by sharing cutting-edge technologies and experiences, drawing on real-world cases from South Korea and the Philippines.
Training Content
Power Grid Situation in Manila, the Philippines
High demand
Manila's electricity demand is enormous and growing year by year. However, much of the grid infrastructure is aging, and upgrades have not kept pace with demand growth, resulting in a vulnerable system.
Frequent local power outages & restrictions
Insufficient generation capacity
Aging grid infrastructure
Impacts of natural disasters
Expensive electricity prices
High generation costs (reliance on imported fuel)
Significant system losses
Various taxes and charges

Packing Solution for Overseas Shipment-Wooden Crate Packaging

Secure the transformer to the crate's internal frame using bolt locks to prevent movement. Individually fix delicate components with custom-cut foam cradles.
Use thickened wood and additional reinforcing ribs to ensure it can withstand the weight of stacked containers. Install skids at the base for easy forklift handling.
Line the interior with water-resistant oilcloth and place a large amount of desiccants to resist high marine humidity. Apply anti-rust treatment to all metal surfaces.
The exterior must be clearly marked with international symbols for lifting points, center of gravity, rain protection, shipping marks, etc.
Seal the packing list in a waterproof bag and securely attach one copy inside the crate and one copy outside to ensure information is always accessible.
Conclusion
This training has provided us with new perspectives and methodologies for solving technical challenges. We look forward to continuing such productive technical exchange activities in the future.
