Recently, VKE Transformer hosted valued clients from the Philippines for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of a batch of single-phase pole-mounted oil-immersed distribution transformers bound for the Southeast Asian market. The clients witnessed the full range of type tests and routine tests conducted at our intelligent comprehensive transformer testing station throughout the process.
The products delivered this time are single-phase pole-mounted transformers fully compliant with ANSI/IEEE and IEC 60076 series international standards, covering mainstream capacities such as 37.5kVA and 15kVA. With a rated primary voltage of 13800/23900V and secondary voltage of 240/480V, they are perfectly adapted to the operational requirements of the Philippine power distribution network. Featuring a fully sealed oil-immersed structure and high-efficiency low-loss core design, the transformers deliver excellent short-circuit resistance, moisture and corrosion resistance, ensuring stable long-term operation in outdoor pole-mounted environments.
During the acceptance, VKE's technical team and client representatives jointly verified the product appearance, nameplate parameters, and structural dimensions item by item. The clients were also accompanied to our Transformer Intelligent Comprehensive Testing Station to witness the execution of all key test items, with all test data strictly meeting the requirements of IEC 60076 and other relevant standards:
- Winding Resistance Measurement: The deviation between measured values and design values is ≤±0.5%, complying with IEC 60076-1, ensuring the consistency of winding material and craftsmanship;
- Turns Ratio & Polarity Test: Turns ratio error ≤±0.5%, 100% correct polarity, in line with IEC 60076-1, guaranteeing voltage transformation accuracy and wiring reliability;
- No-Load Loss & Load Loss Test: For 37.5kVA units, measured no-load loss ≤75W and load loss ≤520W, far below the energy efficiency limits specified in IEC 60076-1, achieving high energy efficiency;
- Insulation Resistance & Dielectric Loss Test: Insulation resistance ≥1000MΩ, dielectric loss factor tanδ ≤0.5% (at 20℃), meeting IEC 60076-3, verifying the reliability of the insulation system;
- Power Frequency Withstand Voltage & Induced Overvoltage Test: 35kV/1min power frequency withstand voltage on the primary side and 3kV/1min on the secondary side without breakdown, 12kV/60s induced withstand voltage without flashover, complying with IEC 60076-3, ensuring the product's ability to withstand overvoltage;
- Tank Leakage Test: 50kPa positive pressure applied for 24 hours with no leakage, meeting IEC 60076-1, ensuring sealing reliability for long-term outdoor operation;
- Temperature Rise Test: Winding temperature rise ≤65K, top oil temperature rise ≤60K, complying with IEC 60076-2, guaranteeing stable long-term operation of the product in the high-temperature environment of the Philippines.
