Step 1: Raw Material Storage & Inspection
The foundation of a high-quality transformer core is premium grain-oriented electrical steel (silicon steel). We only select certified low-loss silicon steel coils, stored in a professional warehouse to avoid moisture, deformation and oxidation. Each coil is strictly inspected for magnetic performance, thickness and surface condition before production.
Step 2: Slitting and CNC Punching & Shaping Process
Large silicon steel coils are processed by high-precision slitting machines to narrow strips with accurate width. Smooth and burr-free edges ensure lower core loss and better lamination performance, which lays the foundation for high-efficiency transformers.
Cut strips are fed into automatic CNC punching lines to form standard step-lap core shapes. High-precision punching ensures uniform dimensions, stable stacking factor and excellent magnetic conductivity.

Step 3: Core Stacking & Assembly
Skilled workers stack laminations step by step with alternating lap structure to reduce air gap, noise and magnetic loss. The core is firmly clamped to ensure stability and low vibration during operation.
Step 4: Final Inspection
Each finished core is inspected for dimension, appearance, stacking tightness and loss performance. Only qualified cores enter the winding stage to ensure the high quality of VKE transformers.
