Introduction:

Three- phase pad mounted transformer is a closed three-phase power transformer installed on a ground base, widely used in distribution systems. This type of transformer is widely used in power distribution systems, outputting high-voltage electricity into low-voltage electricity, which can be used for daily power supply. The fully sealed design makes it suitable for outdoor use.

Main structure:

Fuel tank

Sealed steel casing, filled with insulating oil, for insulation and heat dissipation.

Core and winding

The three-phase core is made of silicon steel sheets, and the windings are copper or aluminum wires. The high-voltage and low-voltage sides are independently wound.

High-voltage bushing

Epoxy resin or porcelain insulators are commonly used to connect to medium-voltage power grids.

Low-voltage bushing

Output low-voltage electricity and usually equipped with a waterproof design.

Tap changer

Adjust the number of turns of the high-voltage side winding to adapt to voltage fluctuations.

Pressure relief valve

Prevent excessive oil pressure from causing an explosion in case of internal faults.

Oil temperature monitoring

Oil level gauge and thermometer, monitor the operating status.

Precautions:

The base should be level and stable to prevent settlement from affecting the operation of the transformer.

The connection of cables on the high-voltage side must comply with electrical standards and proper insulation and sealing treatment should be carried out.

No miscellaneous items should be piled up around the transformer. A safe distance should be reserved in advance.

It is necessary to regularly check whether the oil is lacking, whether the temperature is normal and whether the insulation is good.

The casing should be kept clean and tidy and needs to be cleaned regularly to ensure the safe operation of the transformer.

In areas prone to thunderstorms, lightning arresters should be equipped and grounding safety should be inspected regularly.
