What defines a great transformer?

At VKE, we believe a transformer's decades of service are forged through its construction. Reliability is the sum of every detail. We believe in showing, not just telling. Take a look through these six scenes from our workshop to follow the journey of a reliable transformer, from concept to completion.

Scene 1: Pole Mounted Transformers

The silicon steel sheets are precisely stamped, then tightly assembled with the aluminum windings to form the active part of the transformer-the core of energy conversion.

Once assembled, the active part is carefully hoisted and placed into the cylindrical oil tank. It is now ready for the next critical stage. Adjacent to it, the vacuum drying oven serves as a specialized piece of equipment used to thoroughly treat the active part. By applying heat and vacuum, it thoroughly removes moisture and gases from the insulation materials. This process lays a solid foundation for subsequent oil impregnation and long-term stable operation.

Scene 2: Oil Immersed Transformers
Oil Immersed Transformers Assembly

The reliability of an oil-immersed transformer begins with mastering every detail during the assembly of its active part. Here, the tightness of winding turns, the placement of insulation spacers, and the securing of leads all strictly adhere to the process drawings.

This is where time-tested techniques meet controlled modern production. Skilled hands execute proven designs, while specialized tooling and documented procedures ensure every unit meets the same high standard. The result is an active part engineered for consistent performance and long-term durability.

Scene 3: Dry Type Transformers

The complete, encapsulated form of a dry-type transformer is a direct expression of its core safety features. As shown, the windings and core are fully enclosed within a solid epoxy resin housing, forming an integrated protective structure.

This design not only provides flame-retardant and moisture-resistant properties but also signifies a highly stable internal insulation system. What is pictured is the finished product state-equipped with complete electrical and mechanical performance.

Scene 4: Switchgears

Here, the power distribution system takes its physical form. Frames, busbars, circuit breakers, relays, meters, and more come together, piece by precise piece, following detailed electrical and assembly plans.

Connection is everything. Each busbar contact is prepared to ensure optimal conductivity. Every wire termination is securely crimped. Every control circuit is tested for integrity and isolation. We emphasize modular design and standardized wiring, which not only enhances assembly efficiency but also ensures that every unit functions accurately and operates safely.

Scene 5: Pre-Shipment Preparation

After passing all factory tests, transformers proceed to the final sorting stage before dispatch. This is the last series of steps in our process, where detailed tasks are completed to ensure each unit leaves our facility in optimal condition.

Final preparations

Thoroughly clean the transformer enclosure and check for any minor scratches or stains that may have occurred during transport preparations.

The area shown here contains fully tested and approved products awaiting their final preparations. Every action performed by our technicians at this stage represents our final commitment to delivery quality-guaranteeing that what reaches the customer is a transformer that is reliable in performance, clean in appearance, complete in documentation, and entirely ready for service.

Scene 6: Custom Packaging

Ensuring safe delivery represents the final phase of our manufacturing responsibility. Each transformer's packaging is individually considered according to its specifications, transport parameters, and destination environment.

Transformer Packing

The custom wooden crate shown here demonstrates this approach. Its construction incorporates internal bracing to immobilize the transformer completely, along with comprehensive weather sealing to maintain integrity throughout the logistics chain.

Conclusion

Through these six perspectives, we aim to convey not merely a production sequence, but our philosophy of reliability manufacturing. From raw material inspection to every assembly action, and finally to rigorous testing-each step has standards, records, and traceability.
